Allie296 (Best Trade Wins)

Hello! Zee back with another post!
If you haven't heard, the SWS, the previously biggest scam watching group in Animal Jam was disbanded. It was sad, sure, but most of the agents from the SWS are going on to make their on scam watching blogs, which will help more than having one huge group, so I can't really complain.
Anyways, on to the post. This post is about a scammer called Allie296, who I found scamming in Jamaa Township.

This is her player card. The outfit she was wearing was being offered in the scam.

This was her trade. She was using a lawn chair, a easy item to get, as her scamming bait.

This is her advertising her scam. Though she's not saying it directly, this is pretty much a "Best Trade Wins" scam. She's asking for the best trade for her outfit.

Thing is, there's no reason why she can't just trade her outfit in pieces normally. She answered with this. Now, if she was telling the truth, how would she get the outfit to the winner? She's non-member, so she can't send gifts. It would require another level of unneeded trading.

Astyanaxys (Alternate Account) (Best Trade Wins) (Giveaway) (Trust)

Hello! Zee here!
I was hanging out in Julian2's den, trying to find scammers. I, of course, trying to hunt in the Scammer Drought of 2015, had no luck, except for one person. The user Astyanaxys, who was holding a list giveaway.

This is their player card. I noticed how their username was very unique and strange, but their appearance was fairly normal, at least for a Jammer hanging out in Aldan.
In the scam, they were offering their list, which was chock full of betas and rares, sure to attract a crowd.

While at the scam, I noticed their achievements. They only had eight. Keep in mind that they had a list full of rares, and you can easily tell that this is an Alt. Account. The owner of this Alt. obviously traded over all those rares to this account to do their scamming, but more on that later. Let's get in to the actual scamming.

This was the scammer advertising their scam. I was at Julian2's den, a popular place for scammers, so a scene like this wasn't uncommon, however, it did attract a lot of Jammers to the giveaway, which was to be expected with his amazingly rare list.

When I got there, I saw that his list was different. Previously, it was full of spikes, but it had changed now. The most notable change was the addition of the necklace, which the scammer would use as their bait.

He asked us to buddy him. Whenever a scammer does this, they're keeping you at their mercy. If you interfere then they can just lock you out, but strangely, the scammer never did that.

Something notable he did, even though I didn't get a picture, was the fact that he said that he was ok with us videoing the giveaway. This is my final piece of evidence as to why this person is an Alt. Account. They don't care if they're caught because they can always re-transfer their rares and try again on a different account.

He told us that this would be a trust, and began hopping, asking for trusts. A few people trusted him, but to my knowledge no one was harmed and pretty much everyone there knew he was a scammer.
Half-way though his scam, he stopped talking, but still declined ever trade he got almost instantly. Eventually he left, leading me to think that he left mid-scam and was logged out.

Alright, that's it! I was very happy to actually find a scammer and get a real post up for you guys today. Remember to be safe, and have a good day!

Scammer Goldmine #1

Hi, Zee here, and I'm going to try out a new idea I thought would be cool to bring to this blog!
I'll be trying a goldmine post, which is an idea the SWS came up with.
It's pretty much just a collection of scammers that you know scam, but you don't have enough info to make a whole post on them. These posts won't be nearly as in-depth as the normal posts I write, but I hope you all enjoy these!

Ty495 preforming the "Best Gift Wins" scam.

Moosetracks14 preforming the "Best Trade Wins" scam while using trusting.

Rabbitlover422 doing the "Giftswap" scam.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know it's not very many, but Cerise and I have been busy working on something and scammers are getting harder to find, as mentioned before, so I hope this is enough for awhile.
Thanks for reading, bye!
KittyCat2828 (Gift Swap)
Hello! Zee here!
Sorry for how scarce posts have been. This was the first week back in school and it was really tiring.
However, I did manage to find a scammer, yet, I was't alone. I had the help of a lot of nice people from the SWS when we came across this scammer named KittyCat2828.
This was her player card. The only place that it has in this case is her username.
Even though it's not important to the case, she had a Pink Lamp on trade, which is a den item which can be bought for only 50 gems, making it easy scammer bait. However, in her scam, she did not use the bait.
This is her advertising her scam, the "Gift Swap" Scam.
"Gift Swapping" is pretty much pointless. It's like trading but you use gifts. This makes it longer, more unsafe and unfair, and just a waste of time compared to normal trading. However, it is popular among Jammers for whatever reason. They claim it's more fun, but that's hardly an excuse.
We asked her why she couldn't trade normally and she replied with "Because that's called gifting wars, genius." I have never heard of Gifting Wars, ever.
She continued to laugh at us and even insult us once, until she left.
fastclaw1205 (Gift Swap)
This girl was in Jamaa Township, doing a variation of the gift swapping scam. I managed to get a picture just before she left.
That's all for now!
Emstar9 (Best Trade Wins) (Giveaway)
Hello! Zee here with another scammer I found. This post will be about a scammer named Emstar9, who I found advertising a giveaway in Jamaa Township.
This is her player card, it doesn't have much of a place in this case. On a side note, she does change her animal to her bunny when she begins the scam.
This is her advertising her scam. Despite offering a Purple Spike, her scam didn't get any attention.
This is what she used as scamming bait. She's using a plushie, which you can win for 5 gems.
If you're curious, she did have the spike on trade before she changed to her bait.
When I got to her den, I was the only one there, however Cerise did come, too.
After abotu a minute she began her scam. As you can see above, she is preforming a "Best Trade Wins" scam. She did reword her scam multiple times to make it clearly say "Best Trade Wins," but I didn't get a picture because I already had this one.
 I asked her why she couldn't just trade her spike normally, and she gave the normal scammer response of "Because it's more fun." Actually, it's not more fun. It's longer, more boring, less safe, and much more complicated.
I accused her of scamming, and she freaked out. She began yelling at me, saying she was not a scam.
She also did the angry emote multiple times, and even insulted me once.
She also went on saying that she had never scammed in her life. If this was true, why would she preform something similar to a common scam AND use a very common excuse with it?
To end off her scam, she locked me out. No one was harmed, but I sure do hope she didn't go on to scam anyone else.
Faaiz647 (Other)
Hey Jammers! Cerise here. I don't atcually have any proof this guy is a scammer, but if they openly admit that they are, they deserve to be posted. We were at somebody's den and this guy came in saying that he was a scammer.
That's it.
